Tilapia Tacos

It can be amazing how much food you can eat for a few calories if you choose to eat the right foods! Here is a dinner idea for any of you on prep or simply looking for some light healthy dinner ideas.

You Will Need:

  • Tilapia
  • Pack of low carb tortillas
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Lime
  • Jar of jelepenos
  • Green onions
  • Salsa of choice


I pan fried the tilapia on both sides after seasoning it. I pan fried it for about 2 and a half minutes on each side. I do not use any oil. You don’t need it! Just make sure you don’t forget to spray the pan! I then chopped up all my veggies and threw them in a bowl. You can add or take away any vegetables depending on your preferences. I made two tacos out of these ingredients. I weighed 4oz of tilapia (about two small fish fillets) and covered with about 2/3 cup of my chopped vegetables. I squeezed lime juice on both the vegetables and the tilapia. You can use as much as you want! Then I topped them with hot salsa!

There you have a quick and easy dinner that is prep friendly! Would you believe that this whole plate of food is under 300 calories?!
